It's National FFA Week and Taylor Telecom presented the Lueders-Avoca ISD FFA Chapter with a $500.00 check. We would like to thank Taylor Telecom for their continued support of all our students here at Lueders-Avoca. It's a Great Day to be a Raider!!!!!
The JH and HS track meets that were scheduled for this week have been cancelled.
JH Athletics/PE will meet at the gym each morning on Wednesday, February 19, and Thursday, February 20.
Lueders-Avoca Parents please be mindful of the weather this week! The low temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday morning are 10 and 8 with windchills in the negatives. Please make sure your children are bundled up so they stay warm on the bus and the ride to school!!

Thursday, Jan 30th at 6:30-8:00 pm, ACU along with the Lueders Avoca High School Science department is hosting an astronomy night for the students and community!! All are invited to this event free of charge. It will be held at the Lueders Avoca Football Field.
The Junior High basketball game scheduled for next Monday, January 20th, has been moved from 6:00 to 5:00.
We are having a fun afternoon at Lueders-Avoca Elem/JH. Students earned a game afternoon if they had perfect attendance, all A's or All A's/B's.
Due to the inclement weather, Lueders-Avoca ISD will be Closed today, Thursday, January 9th. All extra curricular activities scheduled for today are cancelled. Everyone please be safe today.
Out of abundance of caution and due to the possibility of inclement weather early tomorrow morning, Lueders-Avoca ISD will have a 10:00 late start with buses running 2 hours late. This will allow the district adequate time to assess the weather conditions in the morning in order to make further determinations.
